Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan has been in top form lately and has continued to score match-winning runs in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 in India as well.

Rizwan struck a monumental 131* against Sri Lanka, in Pakistan's record-breaking chase at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

Apart from being a hard-fought cricketer, Rizwan carries a reputation for being jovial off the field and is known for his quirky responses. During the post-match presser, the 31-year-old's interaction with journalists went viral, which saw the Pakistan cricketer talk about not being able to visit the famous 'Charminar'.

Upon being asked about his sighting in Hyderabad over a virtual medium by Pakistan journalists, Rizwan responded by saying they have only visited Nizam Place and not Charminar.

"Charminar to nahi gye, Hamne, sirf Nizam saab ka mahal dekha!,

The PSL-winning captain also joked about Pakistani journalists conducting a virtual interaction, stating the question will take time to reach India, much to the amusement of people present.

For the uninitiated, Pakistan since their arrival in India, have been put up at Hyderabad, where they played two warm-ups and the first two WC 2023 matches.

Team Pakistan along with their support staff have reached Ahmedabad for their high-profile encounter against India, which will take place on October 14 under immense security at Narendra Modi Stadium.

India will arrive in Ahmedabad sometime today, and have their first pratice session tomorrow.
