With the Border-Gavaskar Trophy just around the corner, Team India is going all out at the WACA in Perth. Since kicking off their practice on Wednesday, the squad has been sweating it out with head coach Gautam Gambhir and the support team keeping a close eye.

Rishabh Pant’s Playful Bouncer Floors Bumrah in WACA Nets

The intensity is real, but it’s not all serious business – thanks to a lively little showdown between Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah.

Pant, known for his antics, decided to try his hand at bowling in the nets. His target? Jasprit Bumrah as the batter. The two exchanged friendly jabs, with Pant even throwing in a couple of bouncers.

At one point, he looked right at the camera and bragged, "Jasprit Bumrah ko pel diya hai maine. Net mein out kara hai!" – sending everyone into laughs. It’s all part of the fun, but there’s no doubt Pant wanted to prove his point!


Virat Kohli and Other Batters Put in Work

While Pant and Jasprit Bumrah enjoyed their playful face-off, the rest of the team was fully in grind mode. Virat Kohli, of course, was focused as ever, batting in the nets for a good stretch. All the main batters were hard at it, prepping for what’s sure to be a thrilling series.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma, who’s awaiting the birth of his second child, hasn’t joined the squad yet. Gambhir is still hopeful Rohit will make it to Perth in time for the opener on November 22, but we’ll have to wait and see.
