Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who was last seen in the Indian colours in November 2022, is causing a stir in the ongoing UP T20 League. He was left out of the squad after the T20 World Cup 2022. Although there was nothing wrong with his performance, the selection committee still omitted him from the squad.

Bhuvi is known for swinging the ball both ways and also delivering slower ones at the back end of the innings. In the ongoing UP T20 League, he is representing Nitish Rana-led Noida Super Kings. His team is currently at the top with four wins out of the six games.

The right-arm seamer was left out of the Test team a long time ago and also played his last ODI last year. But everybody thought that he would be there in the World Cup 2023 squad until the squad for ODIs against Bangladesh was announced, just after the T20 World Cup 2022.

Now, Bhuvi is back in action playing the UP T20 League and has been doing what he does best. In the six games, he has bowled economically and has picked up eight wickets.

Here's how he picked three wickets in game against Kanpur Superstars:

The first wicket he took shows what kind of a talent he has taking the ball away from the batter who nicked just in time to throw his wicket in the hands of Bhuvi. And the other two wickets of his were all about his ability to bowl in the death overs. In the four overs of his quota, Bhuvneshwar Kumar gave just 25 runs and took three wickets. It was an easy chase for the Noida Super Kings, as their captain Nitish Rana has scored 80 off just 45 deliveries and took the team over the line.
