Former cricketer Harsha Bhogle recently shared a heart-touching story about Virat Kohli's kindness. Kohli, known for his aggressive play, showed a different side when he extended support to a young fan battling cancer.

Bhogle recounted how a colleague's daughter, diagnosed with cancer, drew immense strength from a video message Virat Kohli recorded for her. This small gesture became a crucial source of inspiration during her tough battle with the disease. 

The cricketer-turned-commentator shared this story on his YouTube channel, highlighting the profound impact of Kohli's message on the young girl’s fight against cancer.

“There was a colleague of mine whose daughter was very unwell and a form of cancer, and one of the journalists close to Virat Kohli just asked him to record a little message for her, which the cricketer gladly did. After that, I got been touch with the friend's daughter and she told me, you know through my worst periods that message was so important for me,” he shared.

The story didn't end there. When Kohli learned about of girl's recovery, he took it a step further. During India's T20I series in Australia, Kohli, through his wife Anushka Sharma's connections, arranged a special meeting. He invited the young fan to the team hotel, spending half an hour with her, congratulating her on her recovery and showing genuine warmth and passion.

Regarding the Rohit Sharma-led team, Men In Blue are set to face Pakistan on Sunday, June 9, at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
