Harry Kane, the star striker for FC Bayern Munich, has recently shown his support for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) ahead of their crucial Qualifier 1 match against SRH in the IPL 2024 season.

IPL 2024 season’s league stages concluded this weekend as KKR, SRH, RR and RCB advanced to the playoff stages.

Now, in Qualifier 1 of the playoffs, table toppers Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are set to clash with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) today at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad from 7.30 pm onwards.

Notably, the stakes are the highest as the winner of the Qualifier 1 stage gets to directly book a place in the finals of the IPL 2024 season.

That being said, ahead of the high-voltage game, KKR has received massive support all the way from Germany. FC Bayern Munich’s superstar footballer Harry Kane has sent out a video message to KKR to wish them all the luck for the impending playoff fixture from the entire family of Bayern Munich. 

Notably, Harry Kane, known for his goal-scoring prowess on the football field, has a well-documented interest in cricket. He previously met Virat Kohli in England, and the duo has developed a great bond over the years.

Kane's admiration for the sport has often seen him engage in cricket events and express support for various teams. This time, it’s the KKR who have received his backing as they prepare for the most important match of the IPL 2024 season.

KKR so far has had a dynamic season as they finished at the top of the table following IPL's business end of things. And the team will surely start as favourites in Qualifier 1 against SRH.
