He endured a tough Test tour of Australia, a couple of months ago, and the Pakistan team management would hope that their star player can contribute with the bat. Babar has confirmed that he'll bat at number 4 in the series, a position where he'll relish scoring runs.

Babar played a couple of delightful drives, and also looked composed on the back-foot. He played a brilliant cover-drive, his signature shot as Pakistan's white-ball captain puts in the last minute technicalities before the series commences.

The first Test against Bangladesh will start on August 21 in Rawalpindi, while the second Test will take place in Karachi. The series is a part of the WTC cycle, with Pakistan aiming to secure a win.

Babar has a stellar Test record 3898 runs in 52 matches, at an average of 45.86.
