Babar Azam in action for Rangpur Riders during BPL 2024 (BCB)
Pakistan veteran Babar Azam looked in scintillating touch with the bat during Peshawar Zalmi’s recent training session for the upcoming PSL 2024 season. Earlier this month, the cricketer turned up for the Rangpur Riders franchise in BPL 2024, where he pumped out two splendid half-centuries and two additional scores of over 40 in the process.

Pakistan great Babar Azam is set to lead the Peshawar Zalmi franchise in the upcoming PSL 2024 season. Mere days prior to the commencement of the tournament, the legendary batsman took part in an intense intra-squad match for a practice session.
Babar whacked a few out of the ground, and looked in great nick as he aims to sustain his newfound batting form at PSL.

Babar Azam was retained by the Peshawar Zalmi franchise a couple of months ago ahead of the PSL 2024 player’s draft. He made his debut for the team back in PSL 2023 after he was released by the Karachi Kings franchise.
Back in January, the 29-year-old clubbed confident half-centuries in the T20I series in New Zealand to signal his return back to form after a dreadful World Cup 2023 and Australia tours.
The upcoming PSL 2024 season will commence from February 17 onwards with a match between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars. Peshawar Zalmi, on the other hand, will have their campaign kicked-off the following day with a match against Quetta Gladiators at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
