Passionate fans in Pakistan and around the globe hold their breathe in excitement as the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is set to unravel from Saturday (February 17), with the opening game scheduled between defending champions Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United in Lahore. 

Amidst a great sense of anticipation for PSL 2024 amongst cricket lovers, we at 'OneCricket' present to you all the information and insights from the tournament, including the schedule, the format, the squads and the live streaming details. 


PSL 2024 Format 

The six-team competition, featuring teams based in Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Karachi, Quetta and Multan, follows the traditional double round-robin format for the league stage. Each team takes on others twice during the league phase before the top 4 qualify for the playoffs stage. 

Teams finishing in the top 2 during the league phase play the Qualifiers clash to determine the first finalist while the teams placed 3rd and 4th contest the direct Eliminator. The loser of the Qualifier and the winner of the Eliminator contest another straight knock-out game to bag the second finalists' slot.
