Indian keeper-batter Ishan Kishan was in full banter mode behind the stumps in the recent Dominica Test.

While the Test match was a dour affair, thanks to the Indians dominating the home team in all departments, Kishan provided a lot of comic relief with his cheeky one-liners during both innings.

In one of the many instances, the debutant could be heard teasing vice-captain and senior batsman Ajinkya Rahane after WI No.11 Jomel Warrican ended up playing more deliveries than the former.

"Aap se zyada ball khel gaya yeh, Ajju bhai (He has now played more balls than you)," Kishan said while taking his position.


This is not the only instance where Ishan passed hilarious one-liners. In a separate instance, he was seen hilariously letting out expletives after getting frustrated by Warrican's stance.

He also suggested to Shubman Gill, who endured a poor outing with the bat, that the stylish batsman should play like Warrican.

Warrican dished out reverse sweeps against a rampant Ashwin during his entertaining knock of 18 (18).

As for Ishan, he had a mixed debut game behind the stumps as he took a few good catches but also dropped some sitters.

With the bat, he could only manage one run (off 20 deliveries) as Rohit Sharma opted to declare the innings.

Speaking of Rahane and Gill, the duo missed out big time, managing just 6 and 3 runs, respectively.
