One such incident recently unfolded on a flight he stepped into, where his co-passengers erupted into fervent applause and honored his presence by bringing back the iconic age-old chanting.

In a video circulating social media, Sachin Tendulkar can be seen being welcomed into a flight by a wave of his over-enthusiastic fans reciting the age-old stadium chants in his name.

A seemingly emotional Tendulkar, who was with his wife Anjali Tendulkar at the time, also acknowledged the occasion by thanking the fans for all the adulations.

Sachin Tendulkar announced his retirement from international cricket in 2013 after 24 years of service to the country. The legendary batsman tallied over 34,000 runs across both ODIs and Tests, and concluded his career at the top of the run-scoring tally in both formats.

To date, Tendulkar also holds the record for scoring the most international centuries with 100 tons to his name.

As of now, the former Indian player is slated to join the Mumbai Indians camp as their team mentor for the upcoming IPL 2024 season.
