On Tuesday evening, Virat Kohli arrived in Kanpur for the highly-awaited India vs Bangladesh second Test starting from 27 September onwards. As expected, he received a grand welcome full of boutiques and a large gathering by the hotel.

A video circulating on the internet has left people on social media divided, with contrasting reactions. In the video, Kohli is seen receiving a bouquet from one of the staff members while another person tries to shake his hand. Kohli, known for his charm and wit, responds quickly to the staff member and says, "Sir, do hi haath hain (Sir, I only have two hands)" and then thanks everyone as he walks away towards his room.

While some people were left stumped, others on the internet took a different approach, criticising him and labelling his behaviour towards the staff as rude and arrogant.

Kohli's recent outing in the first Test match has raised a lot of eye brows as he departed with low scores of six in the first innings and, later, 17 runs. He would hope to bring his A-game back as this is only the beginning of India's long Test season, they are yet to face another significant challenge, New Zealand tour and then the Border Gavaskar Trophy.
