The second and final Test of the Test series between India and Bangladesh is all set to start on the 27th of September with India looking to whitewash the visitors and boost their chances further of qualifying for the World Test Championship Final. Bangladesh, on the other hand, displayed some fight in the first Test, but were outclassed comfortably in the end, and would be itching to make a statement at Green Park in Kanpur.

However, the rain threat is looming large on the Test match as there are chances of showers in the opening two days of the match. On the first day of the Test match, 27th of September, there is 50 percent chance of precipitation and conditions are expected to be overcast throughout the day. On the second day, the precipitation chances are 44 percent which means that there are chances that some overs will be lost on both the days due to rain in the first Test at the Green Park Stadium after the 2021 one against New Zealand

Conditions Expected To Be Better From Day 3 Of Kanpur Test

There are 39 percent chances of rain on the third day as well, but the amount of rain is expected to be lower. The fourth day will be the best in terms of weather with only 2 pecent chances of precipitation while we might also see no rain on the final day where the weather forecast shows only 16 percent chances of precipitation. So, overall, the conditions are expected to be overcast throughout the Test match and it is bound to affect the combination of both the teams.

The temperature will hover around from late 20s to early 30s, and though there are reports that the pitch will be slow, low and dry compared to the Chennai one, the weather forcast may affect the preparation of the pitch. If there is rain around, the moisture will surely help seamers a bit, and there are chances that both teams will once again go with the combination of three seamers and two spinners.
