To the delight of cricket fans across the globe, the much-awaited second edition of the Major League Cricket (MLC) commences on Saturday night, with defending champions MI New York facing last year's runners-up Seattle Orcas in the tournament opener. 

Six top-class teams are set to battle it out in 25 matches, including the knockouts, across two venues, for the coveted trophy. 

So, as the stage gets set for the United States' premier T20 league, here we provide you with all details.

The six teams participating in the MLC 2024 are - MI New York, Seattle Orcas, Texas Super King, Los Angeles Knight Riders, Washington Freedom and San Francisco Unicorns. To check the squads, click here. 


Major League Cricket 2024: Fixtures, Date & Time

The six teams will face each other once, so twenty-one league-stage matches will be played from July 6 and 24. 

The top four teams will qualify for the next round where the third and fourth placed sides will clash in the eliminator, with the top two colliding in the qualifier. 

The challenger will be played between the winner of the eliminator and the loser of the qualifier. The winner of this match will meet the winner of the qualifier in the final.

In India, the MLC matches will be streamed live on Jio Cinema and telecast live on Sony Sports Network. Meanwhile, Willow TV will air all the matches in the USA and Canada.
