The Indian team under the able leadership of Rohit Sharma whitewashed Bangladesh in the two-match series with thumping wins in Chennai and Kanpur. India's next Test assignment is against New Zealand, a three-match Test series starting on October 16 and the Indian players and management would now be taking a mini-break before they start preparation for the next series.

Delhi boys in the Indian team - Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir and Pant who were seen travelling together to Chennai before the start of the series against Bangladesh, have once again been spotted at the Delhi Airport. In the video that is going viral on social media, Gautam Gambhir is seen walking ahead followed by Rishabh Pant and Virat Kohli. All three looked in a jovial mood with bright smiles on their faces.

Short Break For Gautam Gambhir Before Bangladesh T20Is

It is expected to be a shorter break for Gautam Gambhir as India's T20I side would go up against Bangladesh in the three-match series starting on October 6. Virat Kohli and Pant though would enjoy a longer break with Kohli already retired from the format and Pant rested for the series. Pant is an important player for India in Test cricket and made a successful comeback in the Bangladesh series with a century in the first Test.

Virat Kohli, on the other hand, did not get a big score, but played a crucial knock of 47 off 35 balls in the first innings of the second Test match and contributed to India's dominant strokeplay. India won the Kanpur Test by seven wickets despite two full days getting washed out, and it has been a good start for Gautam Gambhir as head coach in the longest format after disappointment in the ODI series against Sri Lanka.
