David Miller produced absolute carnage in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024 Eliminator at Providence Stadium, where Barbados Royals were up against Trinbago Knight Riders. Playing for the Royals, Miller made 50 off just 17 balls while coming to chase a revised target of 60 in just five overs.

No wonder Royals reached the target with four balls to spare, and Miller's back-to-back sixes against Terrance Hinds in the final over made that happen. More significantly, Miller, who often keeps his calm on the field, could not control himself from expressing his sheer joy.

The South African middle-order batter flexed his muscles after two massive sixes shattered the Knight Riders' hopes. The Royals dressing room was pumped as well, as they made it to Qualifier 2, where the losing team between Guyana Amazon Warriors and Saint Lucia Kings, who will face each other in Qualifier 1, will enter.

Why was the CPL 2024 Eliminator abruptly interrupted?

Earlier, the Knight Riders posted 168/3 in 19.1 overs before play was stopped for 123 minutes due to light tower issues. Two towers went off, and they were later fixed, which led them to have a revised target for the Royals.

It is important to note that if the light towers would not have fixed, the Knight Riders would reach the Qualifer 2 because of finishing above the Royals in the CPL 2024 points table.
