Afghanistan's talented wicketkeeper-batter, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, faced the tough choice of picking between the cover drives of two modern batting maestros, Virat Kohli and Babar Azam. After careful consideration, Gurbaz sided with Kohli, acknowledging the former Indian captain's unparalleled mastery over the shot.

Kohli's cover drive has become iconic, with his ability to command both bat and body during its execution earning admiration from fans and experts alike. In contrast, Babar's cover drive is known for its exquisite timing and grace, showcasing a different yet equally effective approach.

While Babar Azam is currently in Australia for a challenging Test series, Kohli is on a break from the white-ball series against South Africa, preparing to join the Indian side for upcoming Test matches.

Gurbaz, shedding light on a poignant moment, shared an encounter with Babar after a match where he requested the Pakistani captain's signed bat. Gurbaz noted Babar's emotional state, revealing that the captain was on the verge of breaking down due to the pressure and disappointment of the match.

Reflecting on Afghanistan's impressive World Cup 2023 campaign, where they secured wins against England and Pakistan, Gurbaz emphasized Babar Azam's resilience as a captain. Despite facing adversity, Babar displayed unwavering strength and determination, earning Gurbaz's admiration.

The 22-year-old cricketer, who played a pivotal role in Afghanistan's triumphs against Pakistan and England during the World Cup, highlighted the emotional rollercoaster of cricket and commended Babar for his strength amidst challenges.

The Afghan team's success in the tournament earned them qualification for the upcoming Champions Trophy in Pakistan, marking a historic achievement for Afghanistan cricket.
