Virat Kohli's retirement from Test cricket on May 12 has put the entire cricketing world in shock. The legendary cricketer will now be seen only in IPL and ODIs for India, and is clearly in the final phase of his cricket career. Thus, fans would be itching to catch the glimpse of their favourite cricketer whenever possible, and he is now back in the RCB camp for the remainder of IPL 2025.
Virat Kohli Joins RCB Camp Ahead Of IPL 2025 Resumption
The 18th edition of IPL was suspended for a week on May 7, but is not set to resume on 17th and it will be RCB going up against KKR at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. Thus, with few days left, a video is going viral on social media where Virat Kohli is seen in the team hotel in Bengaluru and is donning RCB jersey.
Therefore, it is clear that he is getting ready for his first IPL game post retirement from Test cricket and he would be itching to come out all guns blazing in front of the passionate RCB fans. He was in brilliant form before suspension, and would like to continue that to take RCB to their first IPL title.
RCB have played 11 matches so far and have won eight of those with their points tally at 16. They need just a single win to confirm their playoffs spot and would like to finish in top-2 at the end of the league stage. After the game against KKR, RCB will face SRH on May 23 while they would go head-to-head against LSG on May 27.
Kohli is at the fourth position in the Orange Cap list with 505 runs in 11 innings, and all eyes would be on the superstar when he takes the field against KKR on May 17.
