Legendary batter Virat Kohli continued his dream run for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, slamming his second consecutive fifty in the IPL 2024 against Kolkata Knight Riders on Friday evening. 

However, despite his valiant knock, the Bengaluru-based franchise failed to sustain its winning runs, losing the match comprehensively by seven wickets. 

Meanwhile, after the game concluded, Kohli met swashbuckling KKR finisher Rinku Singh, sharing a brotherly moment with him. 

The legendary Indian batter gave Rinku some priceless batting tips to fine-tune his skills and, in a heartfelt gesture, gifted him a bat. 

Rinku expressed his gratitude towards the senior batter via an Instagram post, where he shared his picture with the Indian talisman with a caption reading, 

"Thank you for the advice bhaiya and also for the bat @virat.kohli."

Opening the batting for RCB, Kohli has had a fabulous season so far, scoring 181 runs, including two fifties, at an average of 90.50 and a strike rate of 141.41. 

Meanwhile, Rinku has showcased glimpses of his incredible finishing skills in the limited chances he has got in the tournament. 

Talking about KKR, the Shreyas Iyer-led outfit occupies the second position in the ten-team IPL 2024 standings following their convincing win against RCB. They will face Delhi Capitals in their third group-stage fixture of the season at Vizag on April 3.
