'Keeps Things Chilled' - Quinton De Kock On His LSG Captain KL Rahul's Approach

The IPL carnival has just started, and it is that time of the year when national identities subside and players from different cultures, nationalities come together to play for their respective franchises in a bid to lift that illustrious Indian Premier League title.
Lucknow Super Giants who played their debut season in 2021, have featured in Playoffs in all their appearances so far and would be looking to deliver another strong performance.
They have started on a losing note though, as Rajasthan Royals overpowered them and as they get ready for their first home game, KL Rahul and co. would be hoping that they get their house in other.
Talking about their arsenal, Quinton de Kock is a key player at the top of the order. He could score only four runs in the first game, but has all the talent to lead the batting charts, if he finds his groove. He looks pretty confident ahead of the second game against PBKS and applauded his skipper KL Rahul for his cool and relaxed attitude.
The Southpaw also praised KL Rahul for his IPL numbers and and added that his return as captain after getting injured in the 2023 season, is a big positive for LSG.
“Yeah, it’s good to have him back. Obviously, he’s done really well, not just for LSG, but for most of his IPL career. He has been part of the top run scorers in most of the tournaments. It’s nice to have a guy like him in our team. He is the captain. He keeps things chilled, relaxed and clear, which makes life easier for the rest of us. It’s good to have him back with us again."
LSG have made some key changes in their squad for 2024 season and it would be interesting to see how they shape up after a lacklustre performance both with the bat and ball against Rajasthan Royals.
