In a moment that left everyone shocked, 14-year-old cricket talent Vaibhav Suryavanshi showed incredible skill with the ball during a practice session. He surprised his teammates and coaches by delivering a ball that turned sharply and broke the stumps clean in half.

RR’s 14-year-old opener Suryavanshi is the find of the IPL 2025 season as he dazzled everyone with a 35-ball century against Gujarat Titans. In a magical inning that swept fans off their feet, the kid hit 11 sixes and broke several records, including being the youngest century-maker in T20 cricket’s history.

However, Vaibhav is on a quest to challenge himself, as he tried his hand at spin bowling during a recent net session.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi Turns Spinner

Ahead of RR’s upcoming game against KKR, Vaibhav Suryavanshi batted in the net and pulled off some incredible shots. His form as an opener is crucial for the Royals even though they are out of the playoff race.

Moreover, after the batting session, Suryavanshi stayed at the ground to try his hand at spin bowling. With no warning, he bowled a spinning delivery that completely fooled the batter and smashed into the stumps, snapping it into two pieces. Everyone present, players and staff alike, could hardly believe what they had just seen.

Suryavanshi has succeeded in making such a name for himself at an early stage of his career, and RR wants to develop him into a superstar of the future.

Rahul Dravid Opens Up On Suryavanshi’s Meteoric Rise

Vaibhav Suryavanshi's phenomenal century has overtaken everyone at IPL 2025. The Rajasthan Royals' young star smashed the second-fastest hundred in IPL history at a mere 14 years of age and showed not only explosive talent but also surprising maturity.

Head coach Rahul Dravid spoke glowingly of Suryavanshi’s joy of the game, calmness, and acute cricket brain. Dravid stressed the importance of guiding the youngster both on and off the field. With only 3 wins out of 10 matches, RR hopes Suryavanshi's magic initiates a turnaround in the later part of the season.
