Umesh Yadav, the ace Indian fast bowler and Gujarat Titans (GT) pacer, recently visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple with his wife Tanya Wadhwa in Ujjain during the Hindu festival of Nag Panchami on August 9, 2024. 

Umesh and his wife were seen offering prayers during this auspicious occasion which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. 

This visit comes ahead of the IPL 2025 auctions, where the seasoned pacer will be looking forward to continuing his career in the upcoming season of the cash-rich league. 


Umesh Yadav With Wife Offer Prayers At Mahakaleshwar Temple 

Recently, the Indian fast bowler shared a post on Instagram, in which he was seen with his wife offering prayers at the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. 

He captioned the picture as: “Best wishes of Nagpanchami Har Har Mahadev.”



Talking about the cricketing front, Umesh Yadav was last seen in action in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. He played seven matches and took eight wickets. 

Internationally, Umesh has represented India in 57 Tests, 75 ODIs, and nine T20Is, with a total of 288 wickets across all formats. In T20 cricket, he has taken 201 wickets in 193 matches at an economy rate of 8.33. 

His last appearance for India was in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final in 2023, where Australia, led by Pat Cummins, defeated India by 209 runs.
