Pakistani batter Tayyab Tahir's heartwarming gesture during the PAK A vs. Melbourne Stars match at the Top End T20 tournament has gained attention, and it's for all the right reasons.

During the game, Tahir accidentally hit a shot towards a young fan, who unfortunately was struck by it. Despite the fan's injury, Tahir's concern was evident. After the game, he met the young fan and his family, expressing his sincere apologies.

His thoughtful act of signing a bat and cap for the young fan and taking photographs was a heartwarming gesture that aimed to comfort the fan. 

This video, capturing Tahir's compassionate act, quickly went viral, touching the hearts of cricket fans everywhere.

Earlier in the day, Melbourne Stars luckily won the toss and elected to bat first against Mohammad Haris-led Pakistan A. The Stars started strong as they were quick to put up a total of 175 against the opposition; with the help of Ashley Chandrasinghe's 47 and Liam Blackford's 55.

However, despite Tayyab Tahir's well-made 57 off 43 balls his team eventually lost to the Melbourne Stars by a big margin of 47 runs.
