The 2023 ODI World Cup was supposed to be India's crowning moment, however, the Australian side spoiled the party and won their 6th ODI World title.

It was a heartbreaking moment for the Indian fans, who witnessed their team play sublime cricket throughout the tournament and yet, they failed to win the coveted title. Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne, stitched a winning partnership to help the Aussies defeat India by 6-wickets. While Head scored a sublime century to bag the Player of the Match award, Labuschagne, too, played a gritty knock and remained unbeaten on 58 off 110 deliveries.
