It is now time for the Women's Cricket fever to take over the cricket fraternity as the second edition of The Hundred for Women is all set to get underway from Thursday, August 11.
The much-anticipated curtain-raiser of the tournament will see the defending champions Oval Invincibles taking on Northern Superchargers at The Kennington Oval.
The champions of the inaugural edition will be once again skippered by tournament-winning captain Dane van Niekerk. The likes of Suzie Bates, Alice Capsey and Marizanne Kapp will look to defend the title for the Invincibles.
Speaking of Superchargers, the team had a forgettable outing in the last edition of the tournament, having won just three matches out of eight they played. The Hollie Armitage-led side will look to put the dreadful 2022 season behind and make a fresh start this year.
