With the excitement already buzzing around the Men's T20 World Cup 2026. The announcement of the schedule for the tournament will be made on November 25, 2025. This announcement will reveal the full fixtures, including venues, groups, and dates for the highly anticipated matches.

The T20 World Cup 2026, which will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, will begin in the first week of February. India enters the tournament as the defending champions, but for the first time ever, the team will compete in a T20 World Cup without Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

Teams qualified for T20 World Cup 2026

A total of 20 teams will participate in the tournament. India and Sri Lanka qualify automatically as hosts, while the remaining teams earned their places through performances in the 2024 World Cup and regional qualifiers.

T20 World Cup 2026 (potential groups)

Although the official schedule will be revealed tomorrow (November 25, 2025), early reports suggest the probable groups. India could be grouped with: Pakistan, USA, Namibia and the Netherlands. Australia will be placed alongside Sri Lanka, Oman, Zimbabwe and Ireland.  England will take on the West Indies, Bangladesh, Nepal and Italy.

Another strong group may feature South Africa, alongside New Zealand, Afghanistan, Canada and the United Arab Emirates.
