The Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) recently announced that India would not be travelling to Pakistan for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025 due to security concerns.  Moreover, as per the latest reports, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has conveyed the same to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in an email.

However, since then there are widespread discussions over India's decision to not go to Pakistan. Amidst this, a fan questioned India's T20I skipper, Suryakumar Yadav, who is currently in South Africa for the four match T20I series, about why India won't be travelling to Pakistan.

SKY being the master of funny responses when it comes to answering questions, responded with a quirky remark. In the viral video, Surya and Rinku are seen getting photograph clicked with his fans in a gaming zone when the fan is heard asking him, 'Mujhe ek baat bata sakte hai, Pakistan kyu nahi aa rahe aap?'(Why are you not coming to Pakistan?).  The 34-year-old was quick to respond to the query and said "Arrey bhaiya, hamare haath mein thodi hai (Brother, it is not in my hands).

A Curious Fan Questions Suryakumar Yadav

Interestingly, when India rejected travelling to Pakistan, they suggested that the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 should be held in a hybrid model in United Arab Emirates. However, according to reports, Pakistan has denied this demand and instead there are rumours suggesting that they will be withdrawing from the tournament.

South Africa Likely To Host Champions Trophy?

India's official refusal to play in Pakistan for the 2025 Champions Trophy. has thrown a challenge before the PCB, which was keen on hosting the tournament at home. Putting pressure on Pakistan to avoid a possible boycott, the ICC has started looking for alternative solutions, urging Pakistan to consider a hybrid model.

Under that proposal, some matches will be played at neutral venues and others in Pakistan. However, as a fallback, the ICC is ready to shift the whole tournament to South Africa if the PCB rejects the hybrid model, reports claim.
