Indian fast bowling maestro Jasprit Bumrah wreaked havoc amongst the South African batting unit after he went on a complete rampage with the ball in the third innings of the Cape Town test.

After India witnessed a bizarre collapse, Bumrah took it upon himself to guide India back into the gripping contest. He removed David Bedingham to kick off the Day 4 proceedings on a positive note.

Subsequently, the pacer sent Kyle Verreynne, Marco Jansen, and Keshav Maharaj packing to secure a ninth-career five-wicket haul.

SKY Saw It Coming?

Interestingly, Bumrah's MI teammate Suryakumar Yadav cheekily predicted the fast bowler's five-wicket haul at Cape Town. Ahead of the test game vs South Africa, Bumrah shared Newlands Cricket Ground's picture via his social media handle to recall memories.

For context, Jasprit Bumrah made his test cricket debut at Cape Town in 2018. As his life came full circle five years later, Bumrah recalled memories and expressed gratitude.

Meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav left a strange comment on Bumrah's post and predicted the pacer to clinch a five-wicket haul. As fate would have it, SKY's predictions came true just a day later as the fast bowler secured the monumental feat in the Cape Town test.

Suryakumar Yadav is currently in rehab with an ankle injury sustained during the white ball series against South Africa. His participation in the upcoming five-game home test series against England is also under the scanner.

Coming back to the match, Jasprit Bumrah's five-wicket haul bundled South Africa under 180 runs, leaving India with a minimal target of 79 runs to chase to clinch much-needed victory at Cape Town.

Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal stepped out with positive intent, with the rookie playing his shots comfortably without any pressure.

Having said that, with this win, the two-game series will end in a draw, and India's pride as a team will stay intact.
