The 2025 Lord's Test between England and India would go down as one of the finest Test matches in the history of the game. Both teams gave their all, and after fighting it out for five days, Ben Stokes and co. clinched the game by just 22 runs.
Mohammed Siraj Finds Himself At The Centre Of Heartbreak
The way the game ended broke plenty of Indian hearts, and Mohammed Siraj was the one who was at the centre of that losing moment. Siraj was the final wicket to fall in the game, and the way he lost his wicket turned out be heart-wrenching for many Indian fans.
It was a shortish delivery from spinner, Shoaib Bashir, and Siraj got behind it to defend it onto the turf. However, as the ball landed on the pitch, it went backwards and hit the stumps to leave Mohammed Siraj and Indian fans absolutely shattered.
Siraj just could not believe his luck and sat at his position for sometime in disbelief. Now, reflecting on a gruesome five-day Test, the Indian pacer has posted some of the photos from the Lord's Test on his official Instagram handle, and has shared his pain through the caption.
Siraj Opens On The Positive Side Of Lord's Loss
Siraj stated that some games tend to stay with a player, not for the outcome, but for what they teach. Siraj's words clearly indicate that the match taught him a lot as he was the centre of attraction not only with the ball and bat, but also in the verbal battles on the ground. Siraj also posted a story on his Instagram account with a background song -' In The END' - Linkin Park.

The Indian pacer picked four wickets in the game and was involved in a 23-run stand for the last wicket with Ravindra Jadeja. The left-handed batter naturally was the aggressor in the stand, but Siraj too displayed a lot of character and skills to bat 30 balls against a hostile English unit on a tough pitch.
