Shafali Verma Breaks Into Top-10 Of ICC Women's T20I Rankings After Blistering 75 vs ENG

The recently completed five-match T20I series between England and India has brought some major changes in the ICC T20I Women's Rankings. Shafali Verma, the Indian opening batter, is back in the top 10 of ICC Women's T20I Rankings after her impressive show in the series against England. The right-handed batter jumped four places to take the number 9 position in the rankings with 655 rating points.

The 21-year-old batter scored 176 runs in five innings at a strike-rate of 158.26 and an average of 35.20. She played a blistering knock of 75 off 41 balls and provided India with good starts in almost all games, playing a big hand in India's maiden T20I series win in England.

Mandhana Continues To Hold Number 3 Rank, England Players Also Make Gains

Smriti Mandhana, her opening partner, on the other hand, continues to stay in the number 3 position. For England, Sophia Dunkley has made a big jump of seven places in the batting rankings and is now at the number 19 position.

Arundhati Reddy is another Indian player who was impressive in the series with six wickets, and she has moved to 39th place in the T20I bowling rankings. Reddy has also moved to 80 in the all-rounder rankings, jumping 26 points in that category.

Charlie Dean, the Player of the Match in the final T20I against India, also broke into the top 10 in ICC Women's T20I bowling rankings. She is now in the sixth position, while Sophie Ecclestone has moved one spot to take the fourth position.

Deepti Sharma, the Indian all-rounder, on the other hand, moved one spot down to three in the bowling rankings, while Renuka Singh, who was not part of the T20I series against England, has fallen five spots to move out of the top-10 in bowling rankings.
