Mere hours prior to Punjab Kings’ IPL 2025 match against the LSG on April 1, the franchise shared a minute-long video on their social media platforms. The video in contention features several Punjab Kings players taking part in an intense training drill at the Ekana Stadium.
In the caption, Punjab Kings hyped up their upcoming match by writing:

Under the guidance of new captain Shreyas Iyer, the Punjab Kings team finds itself ranked number five of the IPL 2025 points table. The franchise won its opening match of the season against Gujarat Titans at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on March 25.
Batting first, Shreyas Iyer hammered 97* from just 42 balls while Shashank Singh blasted 16-ball 44* as Punjab Kings mounted 243-5 off 20 overs. Later, fast bowler Arshdeep Singh (2-36) and Impact Sub Vijaykumar Vyshak restricted the Titans down to 232-5 to secure an 11-run win.
On the heels of a positive start, Punjab Kings will be aiming to sustain its winning momentum with another good performance.
