Sarfaraz, Patidar In India 'A' Squad For Warm-Up, First Unofficial Test Against England Lions

After a comprehensive win over the South African team in Cape Town, India are hosting a five-match Test series against England, starting on January 25. Before the Test series, there's one warm-up game scheduled along with an unofficial Test for the England Lions and the India 'A' team, and BCCI has announced the squad for the same.

The players that represented India 'A' in South Africa will also be playing against the England Lions. Abhimanyu Easwaran has been named as the captain and the team consists of the likes of Sai Sudharsan, Rajat Patidar, Navdeep Saini, and Dhruv Jurel.

In the first Unofficial test against the South Africa 'A' team, Pardosh Paul top-scored with his 163-run knock and Sarfaraz Khan also played a brilliant innings of 76 runs. However, in the second unofficial Test, Dhruv Jurel and Axar Patel handled the batting department with their half-centuries and Avesh Khan stunned the Porteas with a fifer. 

These unofficial Tests are nothing short of amazing opportunities for young guns to express themselves and make a name at the greatest level. As this game will be colliding with the ongoing Ranji season, BCCI have named a 13-member squad for the one warm-up game and 1st unofficial Test against England Lions.
