Is Sanju Samson Joining CSK?
Even while Samson enjoys his downtime, the internet is buzzing with speculation. Just weeks after the curtains came down on IPL 2025, rumours have been swirling that the Rajasthan Royals captain might be parting ways with the franchise. And guess what? Whispers suggest that he could be donning the yellow of Chennai Super Kings come IPL 2026.
While nothing has been made official by either RR or CSK, fans are already losing their minds at the thought of Samson teaming up with the Super Kings. Given RR’s disappointing run in IPL 2025 and Samson’s injury setbacks that kept him out of multiple matches, the rumour mill is running wild with the possibility of a shake-up.
A Royals Journey That Might Be Nearing The End
Samson has been a mainstay of the Rajasthan Royals setup. After making his IPL debut with them in 2013, he spent a couple of seasons with Delhi before returning to RR in 2018. He took over the captaincy in 2021 and led the side to a final in 2022.
However, with Royals falling short this season and his limited appearances due to injury, the franchise might be tempted to hit the reset button.
Whether this ends with Samson switching camps or staying loyal to the pink brigade, only time will tell. Until then, fans will have to sit tight and keep their eyes peeled on the official updates.
