Yashasvi Jaiswal, the swashbuckling opener for Rajasthan Royals, who have been a loyal member of the Pink squad since 2020 shared an elaborate heartfelt post on his Instagram that sparked rumours of him leaving the franchise next year.

Notably, Jaiswal was roped in by RR ahead of the 2020 season for INR 2.40 crore and since then, Jaiswal has been a dependable opening batter for the franchise. Though no recent developments suggest his departure, his 'Thank You' note for RR sparked a frenzy among fans.

Jaiswal's Emotional Post For RR

After RR ended their IPL 2025 journey on May 20 against CSK with a win, Jaiswal took to his official Instagram handle on May 22 to express heartfelt gratitude for the franchise.

"Thank you, Rajasthan Royals, for everything. Not the season we hoped for, but continue to be grateful for our journey together. On to the next challenge 🇮🇳 and whatever the future brings YBJ 64," Jaiswal wrote. 

While this might appear as a simple gesture from the batter, fans decoded it as a hint of Jaiswal leaving the franchise next year. Reports and cricket fan theories elaborate that Jaiswal might get roped in by Mumbai Indians for the 2026 season. 

Yashasvi Jaiswal's stellar IPL career

Debuting in 2020, Yashasvi Jaiswal never looked back. His most promising season came in 2023 when he bagged 625 runs in 14 innings at an average of 48.08. While he impressed in 2024 too with his 425 runs, the current season also saw him excel while maintaining an average of 43 - his second-highest average in IPL by season.
