Ahead of Day 3's play, Rajasthan Royals stars Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel were seen catching up with former Sri Lanka captain and current Rajasthan Royals Director of Cricket, Kumar Sangakkara.

As Sangakkara, who served as the head coach of Rajasthan Royals during the IPL 2024 season and now oversees the team’s cricketing operations across leagues, engaged in conversation with Yashasvi Jaiswal.
The opener on seeing him and beaming with joy, threw his arms around the seasoned legend in a sudden, heartfelt embrace.
Sangakkara, visibly touched and amused, returned the hug with a broad smile, clearly enjoying the lively and affectionate gesture. Standing nearby, wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel could not contain his happiness, at the playful exchange and pointed toward Jaiswal’s spontaneous act.

Jaiswal, who has been in exceptional form during the series, narrowly missed out on a second century in the ongoing second Test. The star batter made composed 87 runs in the first innings. His knock was marked by elegant strokeplay, fearless intent, and maturity beyond his years.
India asserted their dominance on Day 2, posting a formidable first-innings total of 587 after being put into bat. The highlight of the innings was a sensational knock of 269 by Shubman Gill, who etched his name into the record books with a career-best performance.
