This India's Tour To Australia has been unlike any other, marred by one controversy after another. The Indian Team, who are currently busy playing the last Test match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy, have once again landed in the middle of a wrangle.

Last night, Indian captain Rohit Sharma announced that he would opt out of the fifth Test match, sending shockwaves worldwide. Rohit, who failed to make a mark on this Tour, received criticism from all nooks and corners. Despite having a brilliant start to 2024 and leading India to a terrific World Cup victory, the year's second half has not been kind to the 37-year-old.

Rohit Sharma's Name Missing

The plot thickens with the latest revelation. India's team sheet for the upcoming match notably excludes the name of Rohit Sharma. Instead, it lists reserves Devdutt Padikal, Dhruv Jurel, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Sarfaraz Khan, and Harshit Rana. The absence of the Indian skipper's name only adds to the intrigue.
