As India gear up for the third and final ODI against Sri Lanka at R. Premadasa Stadium, keeper-batter Rishabh Pant has grabbed the attention with a bizarre post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

On Wednesday, India, led by talismanic opener Rohit Sharma, will face Sri Lanka in the decider in Colombo. As they have conceded a 1-0 lead to their counterparts, this match holds significant importance for the visitors.

'I will pay 100089 Rupees to lucky winner' - Pant's tweet goes viral

Meanwhile, India's dynamic batter Rishabh Pant has become the talk of the town, thanks to his bizarre tweet.

Taking to his official handle, Pant wished luck to one of India's finest-ever athletes, Neeraj Chopra, who will feature in a Javelin throw competition for the Gold medal in the ongoing Paris Olympics.

He also announced handsome rewards, including a cash prize of INR 100089 and flight tickets, for those who would bring maximum engagement to his post.

Regarding his batting form, the hard-hitting batter recently played a commendable knock in the first T20I against Sri Lanka.

However, despite showcasing his form in the shortest format, Pant was made to sit out in the ODI leg, with India's first-choice wicket-keeper KL Rahul making his comeback.

Nevertheless, considering Shreyas Iyer's lean patch, India might give him a wildcard entry into their playing XI for the final, as his aggressive batting can be handy on Colombo's spin-friendly deck.
