England's explosive top-order batter Ben Duckett had a memorable outing with the bat, as he struck a belligerent knock to help Birmingham Phoenix register an emphatic victory over Northern Superchargers in match 19 of The Hundred 2024.

Duckett, who is in sublime form, slammed 43 runs off just 20 balls, as the Phoenix recorded the quickest-even run-chase in the history of the competition.

Watch- Duckett's audacious scoop against Potts

Although the swashbuckling southpaw played several glorious shots, his outrageous ramp shot against the Superchargers' premier pacer Matthew Potts grabbed the maximum limelight.

The incident occurred during the third set of Birmingham Phoenix's innings after they restricted the Superchargers to a paltry 83-run total.

After conceding a single off his first two deliveries, Potts erred in his line, as Duckett smashed him for a boundary.

However, what followed next was absolutely sensational from Duckett. As Potts bowled another full-length delivery outside the off stump, the opener shuffled across the stumps to scoop it over the keeper's head for a glorious maximum.

His shot reminded fans of England's white-ball captain, Jos Buttler, who is known for his extraordinary hitting skills.

Birmingham's opening batters continued their onslaught on the Superchargers, helping their side chase the target in just 39 balls. With the clinical ten-wicket win, the Phoenix moved up to the third position in the points table.
