India's much-awaited squad for the Women's World Cup 2025 has been finally announced, and as expected, Harmanpreet Kaur is leading the 15-member squad. The squad sees the return of Renuka Singh, who was out of action from late 2024 due to injury while Shafali Verma and Shreyanka Patil have missed out.
The announcement of the squad has made the host nation first team to reveal their arsenal for the marquee women's tournament. Smriti Mandhana will be Harmanpreet Kaur's deputy while Pratika Rawal who has been doing well as an opener in the last few series will play her first Women's World Cup.
