India's schedule for Women’s World Cup 2025 (Source:@imfemalecricket,x.com)
The ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 is set to commence on September 30, with India locking horns against Sri Lanka in the tournament opener at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. It is important to note that the tournament will be played in a hybrid format due to political tensions between India and Pakistan.
All the matches of Pakistan will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This follows a compromise agreement brokered during discussions over the Champions Trophy, where India refused to travel to Pakistan. ICC subsequently introduced a hybrid hosting model, where India played its matches in Dubai, while Pakistan hosted the remainder of the tournament in Lahore and Karachi.
India’s World Cup 2025 Schedule
