Josh Hazlewood Returns In IPL
Several top stars, who have been bought for big bucks in the auction are yet to attain full fitness. In the latest events, RCB have been handed a boost as their star seamer and one of the most expensive buy Josh Hazlewood has landed in Bengaluru for IPL 2025.
RCB invested 12.5 crores in Hazlewood during IPL 2025 mega-auction. However, Josh has been dealing with several injuries in the past three-four months. It is worth noting that Hazlewood missed most of the BGT because of a hamstring injury and later was ruled out of Sri Lanka series and other games because of side-strain discomfort.
Hazlewood Misses Most Of Cricket In Last 2 Years Because Of Injury
The last year or so hasn't been great for Hazlewood as he has frequently picked up injuries and missed several games. It is worth noting that he also missed IPL 2024 because of personal reasons.
It is worth noting that Hazlewood has played just 47 matches across formats for Australia and is looking for more game time. However, RCB would pray for no more injury concerns for the right-arm seamer as he is the star seamer for the Challengers alongside Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who would look to form a formidable pair with Josh in IPL 2025.
