In a significant development, ace Australian cricketers Josh Hazlewood, Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc are expected to get fit for the upcoming Indian Premier League season. The formidable fast bowling trio missed out on the Champions Trophy due to injury setbacks.
Cummins, Hazlewood And Starc Set To Play IPL 2025
It's worth mentioning that Australian captain Pat Cummins was sidelined from the Champions Trophy due to an ankle injury, while Josh Hazlewood was ruled out of the showpiece event due to a side strain.
On the other hand, Mitchell Starc opted out of the Champions Trophy, citing personal reasons. Veteran Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has also received a fitness clearance to participate in the IPL 2025. He missed out on the Champions Trophy due to a back injury, but he has recovered from it and is all set to represent Lucknow Super Giants in this season.
