Ravindra Jadeja, India's premium all-rounder has started training for the upcoming Bangladesh Test series. The two-match Test series against the Tigers will begin from September 19, and Jadeja has started practising to get back in rhythm.

Jadeja pulled out of Duleep Trophy

The star all-rounder, recently joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and followed the footsteps of his wife, who is already an avid member of the political party.

Moreover, he also pulled out of the ongoing Duleep Trophy first-round matches, but BCCI didn't give a reason for Jadeja's absence from the tournament. Jadeja, was last seen in action for India during the T20 World Cup, and since then, he hasn't featured for the Men in Blue.

Meanwhile, another all-rounder from the Indian team, Axar Patel asserted his dominance in the Duleep Trophy 2024 and staked a claim to be included in the playing XI of the first Test match against Bangladesh.

With just a few days left for the series, Jadeja started his intense training session at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), and posted a photo from the NCA, with a caption "Starting."

Jadeja, enjoying retirement life

Jadeja, recently retired from the T20I format, after winning the World Cup. After Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma announced their retirement, Jadeja took his turn and followed the other two players.

Since then, he has taken a break from cricket, and while Kohli and Rohit featured for the Indian team in the ODI series against Sri Lanka, Jadeja extended his break, and it seems he'll be back in the Indian whites for the series against the Tigers.
