Radha Yadav Grateful To NDRF For Rescuing Her Family From Gujarat Floods

In the latest update, heavy rainfall has caused immense destruction and affected human life to a great extent in Gujarat. This has disrupted daily life caused numerous deaths and forced thousands to evacuate their homes. Indian women's cricketer Radha Yadav, was also trapped in the floods with her family. 

But with good fortunes, the star cricketer and her family were rescued by a NDRF team from her home in Vadodara Gujarat. 

Radha took to social media (Instagram) and updated her about her safety. She also thanked the rescue team and the government for their valuable help

“We are Stuck in a Very bad situation. Thank you so much #NDRF for rescuing us,” Radha wrote on social media along with the video.

The video clip that she shared on social media showcased the area surrounded by water and rescue personnel approaching on a raft. People can also be seen wading through chest-high water.

Radha Yadav To Feature For India Women In ICC T20 World Cup 2024 

In the recent news, Radha Yadav has been included in India's T20 World Cup squad. She is the only specialist spinner in the 15-member squad and is expected to get good support from off-spinner Deepti Sharma. 

She last played in the Women's Asia Cup 2024, in which she scalped six wickets in five matches at an economy rate of 6.73. She was third-highest wicket-taker for India, and fifth on the overall list.

Indian women's team will begin their T20 World Cup campaign against New Zealand on October 4. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led team will travel to the UAE. They are placed in Group A with defending champions Australia, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka.
