The first Test of the the two-match Test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh turned out to be a historic one with the visitors notching up their first-ever Test win against Shan Masood and company.

They would be itching to continue that momentum in the second Test and register their first-ever series win against Pakistan. So, it would be interesting to see what combination they would prefer in the second Test.

It would be difficult for Bangladesh to change their winning combination, but they had some quality players sitting on the bench in the first Test. They went with three pacers and two spin-allrounders in that match, and so Taijul Islam, one of their finest spinners missed out. The pitch in the second Test is also not likely to be a rank-turner, so playing more than two spinners would not be possible for Bangladesh.

Taskin Ahmed Set For Much-Anticipated Test Comeback

However, there is room for bringing in Taskin Ahmed in place for Nahid Rana. The former did not play the first match because Bangladesh wanted to give him some more time to get ready for Test cricket, and if he is completely fit now, he would make a comeback into the side.

The batting line-up would remain same with almost all batters scoring runs in the first Test match. It is a chance for Bangladesh to create history, and the addition of Taskin Ahmed would be a big boost for Shanto and company.
