The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has delayed the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 exhibition match between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators, initially scheduled for April 8, 2025, at Peshawar’s Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium.
The fixture, intended to mark the return of high-profile cricket to the region, will now be held at a later date. Meanwhile, PSL 10 is set to commence as planned on April 11, with defending champions Islamabad United taking on Lahore Qalandars in Rawalpindi.
PCB Confirms Match Postponement
The PCB confirmed the rescheduling in an official statement, "PSL X exhibition match scheduled between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators at the Arbab Niaz Stadium in Peshawar on 8 April will be rescheduled. The revised date of the match will be announced in due course,” as quoted by geosuper.tv.
Reiterating its commitment to Peshawar’s cricketing revival, the board added that it is determined to host matches at the international stadium in Peshawar and will continue supporting the provincial government to ensure the venue becomes operational. However, it should be noted that the reason for the delay has not been revealed or discussed by the board yet.
