On October 3, i.e., mere days prior to the launch of Pakistan’s home series against England, the PCB unveiled the names of all match officials set to supervise the three matches. Former West Indies cricketer Richie Richardson will serve as the match referee for each of the three Tests.

Sri Lanka’s Kumar Dharmasena and Bangladesh’s Sharfuddoula Saikat will officiate as on-field umpires for the first Test, where Christopher Gaffaney and Asif Yaqoob will serve as third and fourth umpires respectively.

Dharmasena will return to officiate as an on-field umpire for the second Test, where he will be joined by Gaffaney. Sharfuddoula Saikat will act as third umpire while Rashid Riaz will officiate as the fourth umpire.

For the third and final Test at Rawalpindi, Christopher Gaffaney and Sharfuddoula Saikat will perform as on-field umpires. Kumar Dharmasena, who officiated in the first two matches as one of the two primary umpires, will supervise the proceedings within the vicinity of an AC room as a third umpire. Faisal Aafreedi, a part of the ICC International Panel of Umpires, will act as the fourth umpire for the series finale.

The series between Pakistan and England will commence on October 7 at the Multan Cricket Stadium. The venue will also host the second Test of the series before the action will shift to Rawalpindi for the third match.
