The England cricket team has arrived in Pakistan for their upcoming three-match Test series against the hosts. On October 2, Ben Stokes and co. received a traditional Pakistani welcome at the airport upon their arrival in Multan.

England’s three-match series against Pakistan will launch on October 7 at the Multan Cricket Stadium.

England team arrives in Multan for first Test

The English cricket team touched down in Multan on October 2 for their upcoming three-match Test series against Pakistan. The visiting players, led by Ben Stokes, were spotted making their way in and out of the Multan International Airport, as they received a traditional Pakistani welcome.


The England players will rest for two days before starting their training on October 4.

The first Test will be hosted by the Multan Cricket Stadium between October 7 and October 11. The venue will also host the second Test from October 15 onwards before the action shifts to the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on October 24 for the series-finale.

Each of the three matches will also constitute a part of the ongoing 2023-25 WTC cycle. The England team is currently ranked fourth on the Championship points table with a PCT of 42.19. The Pakistan team, meanwhile, is languishing at number eight on the nine-team standings.

Ahead of the three-match Test series between England and hosts Pakistan, here is a look at the complete squads of both sides.

Pakistan squad: Shan Masood (c), Saud Shakeel (vc), Aamir Jamal, Abdullah Shafique, Abrar Ahmed, Babar Azam, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Huraira, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Naseem Shah, Noman Ali, Saim Ayub, Salman Ali Agha, Sarfaraz Ahmed (wk) and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
