Virat Kohli turned 36 years old on 5th of November 2024, and the wishes for the legend are showering from all corners of the cricketing world. Riyan Parag, the young Indian cricketer has also joined the list now, and has posted a story from his official Instagram account, describing how Virat Kohli has inspired him over the years.

Riyan Parag described Virat Kohli as the greatest of all time and added that the right-handed batter's passion, aggression and work ethic has played a big role in his development as a cricketer. He also added that sharing a field with Virat Kohli is one of his most cherished memory and wished Virat Kohli many more years of greatness.

Riyan Parag recently played ODI series with Virat Kohli, his maiden stint in the format. The Assam batter also made his T20I debut in the Zimbabwe series, and has done well in the opportunities he has got so far. Also, he has been recently retained by Rajasthan Royals ahead of mega auction for IPL 2025, and his career has finally taken off after years of under-performing in the Indian Premier League.
