In a massive news coming, the IPL franchises recently requested BCCI should take action against a certain foreign players who show lack of respect to the commitments, and withdraw from the competition in the very last minute.

The Cricbuzz reported that many franchises raised the same complaint, and hence, the BCCI is likely to take the matter seriously.

"The actions of players such as Jason Roy, Alex Hales, and Wanindu Hasaranga, to name a few, who have withdrawn from the IPL on various occasions in the past - ostensibly because of receiving a low bid - have raised concerns of the IPL management. None-too-convincing reasons for their withdrawals have ranged from personal issues to injuries, leaving franchises less than pleased," a Cricbuzz report read.

The report also added that there are many players who prefer not to include themselves in the mega auction. Instead, they look for mini-auction, where they secure more whopping contracts than the ones they get in the mega auction.

The meeting between the BCCI and the IPL franchise CEOs will take place later on Wednesday (July 31).

Unlike the previous meetings took place between the BCCI and the IPL franchises, there should be serious discussions between them, as there are plenty of concerns before the focus shifts to the mega auction.
