In light of recent family disputes that have brought Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja into the news, an old tweet of his has garnered attention for its touching message about respecting parents. The tweet from 2012, where Jadeja emphasized the importance of honouring one's parents, has gone viral, adding a layer of irony to the ongoing controversy involving his family.


Jadeja's old tweet on respecting parents resurfaced amid family feud

Ravindra Jadeja's tweet, which was shared nearly a decade ago on the platform X, formerly known as Twitter, reads: "One who touches his parents' feet daily, He never faces the situation in his life to touch others' feet." This statement has resurfaced amidst a public falling out with his father, Anirudhsinh Jadeja, who has openly criticized his relationship with his son and daughter-in-law, Rivaba.


In an interview with Divya Bhaskar, Anirudhsinh Jadeja expressed his estrangement from Ravindra and Rivaba, detailing how the family dynamic deteriorated shortly after the couple's marriage.

"Do you want me to tell you one truth? I have absolutely no relation with Ravindra and his wife, Rivaba. We don't call them, and they don't call us,” said Anirudhsinh.

He further lamented the divide Ravindra Jadeja’s wife, Rivaba caused in the family, claiming that her insistence on transferring properties to her name led to a rift within the family.

Anirudhsinh's disclosures depict a family in discord, where personal grievances have spilled into the public eye. He poignantly remarked on his separation from his son, despite residing in the same city, and shared his regret over the choices that led to the current state of affairs.
